The new addition has finally arrived. We've been waiting since my class reunion in July for this young lady to come join our family. She was a stray that showed up in the middle of winter at a friend's place in Eastern Washington. This friend is now closing up that home for the winter and couldn't bear the thought of leaving her behind.
The first time I met her I was staying over at my friend's place and that evening as I was lying in bed Miss Kitty came in the room, hopped up on the bed, laid down on my chest, and started purring.
